CONCRETE CURBING PROCESS

Our Creative Concrete Curbing design consultant will meet with you personally and discuss all the details of your landscape borders. Your design consultant will create an official quote based on the design that you have created. We offer FREE estimates with no hidden charges. You will know your complete investment before the installation begins.

Before the installation process starts the ground is marked using spray paint or string. If existing landscape border exist it will be removed at this time.  A grass cutter especially designed for strip removal is used to cut away any excess grass where the new curbing will be formed.  The area is then leveled, raked, and tamped ready to extrude your beautiful concrete decorative curbing. After the grass is removed, a path or dirt strip is left and the curbing will be installed along this strip.

Next, the concrete is mixed, right on site. The concrete curbing color of your choice is added during this process.  The concrete mixture is placed in our special concrete curbing machine, which then is extruded continuously around your flower beds. Your concrete curbing is then troweled to a smooth or textured finish. See our concrete curbing patterns page for texture selection and ideas.

Expansion joints are cut into the concrete before the hardening process begins. Last step in the process, is your decorative concrete curbing is sealed. Please browse our warranty page which explains what to do after your decorative concrete curbing is installed.
